Derby Theatre is looking for a new Head of Marketing to plan and implement Derby Theatre’s marketing and communications strategy, which drives the growth and diversification of audiences as well as the development of the theatre’s profile. The post holder will lead and inspire a team of marketing and sales staff and is a member of the theatre’s Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced arts marketing professional with the ability to develop Derby Theatre’s unique Learning Theatre vision into an innovative brand that blends professional producing theatre with creative learning and talent development. With equal emphasis placed on all strands in the delivery of the theatre's vision and mission, the post holder will be someone who is as committed to maximising the potential of the Christmas show as they are to maximising participants in a learning programme, such as Theatre Unwrapped.
